You spend a great deal of your youth, if you’re a certain sort of person, thinking you can transcend desire.
The predictable happens,
You fall off,
You become worldly,
You wander, lost in the dust,
And then you get older,
Dirtier,
And it occurs to you,
You don’t transcend desire,
You simply
Wear it out.
Loved reading this. Short sweet and eminently readable. Great stuff Chet
